The sea off Anglesey sometimes glows electric blue at night. Bioluminescence, plankton that flash when the water's disturbed. Penmon Point is where people chase it, and it's been showing this week, though it's maddeningly unpredictable. Anyone caught it?

@Dunadan9 Not far from there is the precipice walk, absolutely stunning especially in the summer. A 360° view of the best mountain scenery in mid Wales. Despite it's name it's actually not much of a walk from the car park

There's a beach on the Llŷn where the sand squeaks when you walk on it. Porthor, or Whistling Sands. Round, evenly-sized grains that squeak underfoot, but only on dry sand, so now's the time. Have you heard it? What's the best beach find you've made?

A woodland play area at Penrhyn Castle that isn't signposted. Through a wooden arch by the car park, then a short riverside walk. Stepping stones, balance beams, dens, a hide for picnics. Most head for the castle and miss it.
