A little lore on why PI exists.
Deep inside Arc’s genesis configuration, Circle left a small technical easter egg.
Genesis is where a blockchain begins. It defines the network at block 0 — the chain ID, initial parameters, pre-loaded contracts, and everything the network is born with.
And inside Arc’s official mainnet genesis file, there’s this:

Look closely.

Those are the digits of π:

@circle built our chain called @arc and embedded π directly into its genesis.
Not in a random transaction.
Not added later.
It was there from block 0.
PI was written into Arc before Arc even began.

π is hiding here:
1 + 1/4 + 1/9 + 1/16 + 1/25 + ...
Add the reciprocals of every square number forever.
The answer approaches exactly:
π²/6
No circles.
Still π.

Watch a sine wave long enough and you'll find a circle hiding behind it.
Uniform circular motion projected onto one axis creates:
sin(θ)
Project it onto the other:
cos(θ)
Waves and circles are the same motion viewed differently.

One of the strangest appearances of π:
∫₋∞^∞ e^(-x²) dx = √π
There isn't a circle anywhere in the equation.
Yet its exact area contains π.
Mathematics keeps finding ways to bring it back.

Imagine measuring Earth's diameter.
About 12,742 km.
Multiply it by π.
You get roughly its circumference:
12,742 × π ≈ 40,030 km
One constant turns a line through a planet into a journey around it.

π is hiding inside randomness
Drop a needle randomly onto a floor made of parallel lines.
Somehow, the probability that it crosses a line can be used to calculate π.
No circles.
No radius.
No circumference.
Just randomness.
And π still appears.
The moment you realize it, it's wonderful.

Start with a circle. Put smaller circles inside it, then smaller circles inside those. Keep going forever.
This is called circle packing. As the gaps get smaller, new circles can keep filling the empty space, creating more and more detail at every scale.
Zoom in and the same geometry continues. Circles within circles, repeating deeper and deeper.
The pattern becomes infinitely complex.
But every circle, from the largest to the smallest, is still governed by the exact same constant:
C / d = π
Change the size. Change the position. Keep going toward infinity.
The ratio never changes.
