New #blog post: https://t.co/0U9ittkqum Excerpt: "I admit that I find it difficult to believe that the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence is anything but the eloquent statement of natural-rights doctrine that the conservative declarationists assert it to be."
New Post: On the Impossibility of Productive Discussions in YouTube Comments. Excerpt: Do we really have to limit our options to these two, anti-Israel noninterventionism or pro-Israel interventionism?.... Link: https://t.co/vjDqtviPHo #Israel#AmericaFirst#AmericaLast
P.S. Here is the video I linked to illustrating how love of unjust forgiveness has begun corrupting Christian doctrine: https://t.co/bZNpZsz5aL. In terms of historical, orthodox Christian doctrine, God has ensured that HIS forgiveness is always ENTIRELY just.
The 2nd concerned the widely publicized, & among Christians widely praised, announcement by Erica Kirk that she forgives the man who murdered her husband. This compulsion to announce forgiveness for unrepentant evildoers seems to be unjust & to claim moral authority no human has.
I commented on a couple YouTube vids today. As I do this so rarely anymore, I though I'd mark the occasion by making note of them on X, which I now also use rarely. The 1st, which YT seems to have blocked, concerned a popular branch of comparative religion: health & nutrition. π₯
@NutritionMadeS3 Actually, it's the Gerson *Institute* Archive. Sorry. Here's my copy of the comment for reference, in case my above attempt to summarize missed anything else. The therapy still has adherents, though I don't know how many.

@NutritionMadeS3 FYI, the video to debunk was this one: https://t.co/80folqdApc. I also suggested that you might want to do a more comprehensive debunking of content in the Gerson Therapy Archive, since a search of your YT channel showed no matches for the keyword "Gerson."
Update 3/3 Re Israel, Gaza: "an evildoer willing to kill a hostage if a protagonist doesnβt drop his weapon will also be willing to kill the protagonist" β΄ "a protagonist who drops his weapon is acting in an irrational & immoral fashion" β take the shot

Today I finished part 3 of the old post I've been reworking for better online reading. It discusses C. S. Lewis by examining John Robbins's Lewis-critical paper. Topics include justification by faith alone & the fate of those who never hear about Jesus. https://t.co/Xc4sPKoCWB
I'm (still) reworking an old post for better online reading. The post discusses C. S. Lewis through examination of a John Robbins paper highly critical of Lewis. Formerly 1 post, it's now a series of 3. Here is part 2, which I finished updating today: https://t.co/O1aD7pMfgc

βWhile todayβs social media amplifies the most extreme, least prudent voices on every topic, these voices do not deserve their prominence. Incautious extremism is not a mark of mature thought; it is the hallmark of adolescents.β Read in context, & more:

Stating the obvious:
When a newscaster describes having a different opinion as βspreading misinformation,β thatβs π£πͺπ’π΄. It commonly indicates one is listening to propaganda, not new reporting.
