The Catholic Church teaches that abortion is a grave moral evil and is considered a sin. This position is rooted in the belief that human life is sacred from the moment of conception. The Church asserts that every human being has the right to life, which must be respected and protected absolutely. This teaching has been consistent throughout the history of the Church.
Key documents affirming this teaching include:
1Clarification on procured abortion (2009)states that "the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion" and that direct abortion is "gravely contrary to the moral law". It emphasizes that formal cooperation in an abortion incurs the penalty of excommunication.
2Evangelium Vitae (1995) highlights that human life is sacred and inviolable at every moment of existence, including before birth. It notes that Christian Tradition has consistently condemned abortion as a serious moral disorder.
3The Catechism of the Catholic Church (1992) reiterates that "since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion" and that life must be protected from the moment of conception. It also states that every human life is sacred because it is created in the image of God.
4Dignitas Infinita (2024) emphasizes that the dignity of every human being is intrinsic from conception until natural death, and the Church's magisterium has always opposed abortion.
5Amoris Laetitia (2016) stresses that the family should be a sanctuary of life, and no right to one's own body can justify the termination of an innocent life.
In summary, the Church's teachings clearly categorize abortion as a sin due to the inherent dignity of human life and the moral obligation to protect it from conception onward.
Consider the contrast: one minister covers up government corruption while officials in Zimbabwe get a free pass.
Instead of going after the real culprits who cause so much suffering, he poses as an enforcer while harassing informal vendors.
On the other hand, you have a minister who sees it as his duty to serve and protect citizens by confronting corrupt officials trying to loot national coffers through tainted government tenders.
Although Balaam may not be entirely clean himself—being a staunch defender of President Yoweri Museveni but his actions against procurement corruption stand out.
If the same were done in Zimbabwe by Daniel Garwe, our nation would be in a much better position.
Wake up, Zimbabwe! We can do better if we confront the real issues in our nation. These zvigananda should be shaking in their boots.
If we had a minister like Uganda's taking on public corruption, we would finally learn where all this money being thrown around in Zimbabwe comes from and who is protecting these criminals.

PRICELESS MOMENTS IN EAST AFRICA...🇰🇪🙏🏽
After attending the beautiful engagement celebration of the daughter of His Excellency, President William Samoei Ruto, I honestly thought the day could not get any more special. As I was leaving i then realised GOD had reserved one more and final UNFORGETTABLE moment for me. Imagine HIS EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT RUTO personally offered to DRIVE ME and drop me approximately three kilometres to the helipad where I had left my helicopter. Imagine me sitting in the front PASSENGER SEAT with my wife at the back while the PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA, the HEAD OF STATE himself, was behind the steering wheel personally driving me to the chopper!!! I sat there overwhelmed with JOY, thinking, “GOD, WHAT KIND OF GRACE IS THIS?” I've lived large and had many different and exceptionally beautiful experiences in my OPULENT lifestyle , but certainly THIS WAS A FIRST. Those three kilometres alone will forever remain one of the most PRICELESS journeys of my life.
Now I believe ROYAL BLOOD indeed flows through my veins, but above everything, it is the GRACE AND FAVOUR OF GOD that continues to carry me further. Your Excellency, your HUMILITY is unmatched and thank you again and always for the genuine love, kindness you have shown me as your own child. What may have been a short drive for you became a MEMORY OF A LIFETIME for me. I boarded my helicopter with a FULL HEART, simply saying, “TO GOD BE THE GLORY ” 🙏🙏🙏
THANK YOU SO MUCH YOUR EXCELLENCY… ASANTE SANA, RAIS WANGU. 🇰🇪❤️

Dr Kudakwashe Mutenda, a Zimbabwean businessman, global corporate executive, and author educated in Japan who has travelled to 100 countries and worked in seven, says unless a country produces something it will not prosper.
Unless Zimbabwe starts producing something of value and stop importing almost everything, "we are going nowhere".
In general country does not need to produce everything it consumes to prosper, but it must produce something of value —whether goods or specialised services — to trade with others and grow economically.
Importing things and becoming a wholesale for other countries is the fastest route to poverty and dependence.
In a recent inspirational presentation at CDC Assembly about his life journey and global business sucess stories, Mutemba, known as the founder and managing director of Mwana Group, a local manufacturing and automotive solutions enterprise, says innovation, production and development are mutually reinforcing.
Countries must be innovative, produce and trade in order to develop.
He says due to deindustrialisation and lack of production; relying on imports, Zimbabwe is going backwards.
In 2019, Mutenda transitioned from a highly lucrative international corporate career to establish Mwana Group in Zimbabwe.
The company manufactures commercial vehicle components;
a modern single car has about 30 000 parts — most notably automotive filters under the Mwana Filters brand — and provides maintenance services.
Before returning to Zimbabwe, he worked for Daimler AG in Germany and Mitsubishi in Japan during his high-profile career with global automotive giants.
He spent years managing operations across seven countries, including serving as the regional sales manager for Daimler Middle East & Levant in Dubai and heading Mercedes-Benz commercial customer services across 42 African nations from Nairobi.
Coming from a humble background in Mufakose, Harare, he won scholarships to attend Prince Edward School and later study engineering in Japan.
He became fluent in Japanese and completed his undergraduate, master's, and doctorate degrees entirely in the Japanese language. He earned two master's degrees from Sophia University, famously completing a two-year programme in just 13 months.
In March 2026, he published his 488-page autobiography titled "My Life: Overcoming – Kukunda". The memoir serves as an inspirational blueprint for African entrepreneurship, detailing his journey from walking barefoot to primary school to succeeding in global boardrooms and overcoming early learning difficulties.
