We love to confess simul iustus et peccator (at once righteous and a sinner) but we speak far more readily of the sinner than of our estate as saints. In Christ we are forgiven, washed, redeemed and righteous.
Confessing both while dwelling almost entirely on one is false humility.
Big news! My first book Labor Pains - Working and Living in a World Frustrated by Sin is coming out on 10/1! Amazon ebook preorder is live now and both the ebook and paperback editions will be available for purchase on launch day.
“Call a police officer for you, he will f*ck you up, because we work with them”
There’s no two tier system though

There you are with those Jezebel eyes
There you are, not a cloud in your skies
There you are at a hundred degrees
Singing diamonds and roses
And everything's golden
But that doesn't matter to me
They'd go rarin' and tearin' and fightin' for love
For the land they call Killeagh, and the Lord up above
Killeagh, la, la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la
For the green and the white I adore
For the parish to last evermore
I sent this message to @LutheranAnswers and i will post it here for accountability as well.
Joke or not I find it disgusting.
Lutheran Answers,
I am genuinely disgusted by your post.
I show a chart showing the historic decline of the Irish language and it was met with the response, “The Irish language? Do you mean the English language?”
What exactly is supposed to be funny about that? The loss of my people’s native language? The erosion of our culture’s historic identity? Or is the joke simply that Ireland should regard English as its rightful language because Britain conquered and ruled part of the island?
Irish is the indigenous language of Ireland. Its decline has not been an accident. It occurred through centuries of political, social, and cultural pressure. To sneer at that reality and reduce it to a joke is shameful, especially from a Christian.
If someone mocked the decline of another people’s native language, most would immediately recognise it as crass and offensive. The Irish language deserves the same respect.
Your post was a cheap attempt at provocation built upon the loss of a nation’s cultural inheritance.
The post should be deleted and an apology offered. I have zero respect for anything like this.
I am excited to announce that we are moving ahead of schedule.
Rather than releasing on launch day June 5th, A Primer on the Trinity is officially LIVE TODAY on Amazon.
I genuinely cannot thank you all enough for the support, encouragement, messages, and excitement surrounding this book. It has been a joy to work on and I am grateful to finally place it into your hands.
Moving the release forward also gives me more time to focus on the upcoming competition and merch giveaway related to the book, which I know many of you are looking forward to.
Thank you all again for the support. I pray this book helps equip ordinary believers to better understand, defend, and articulate the doctrine of the Trinity.
It’s live. Let’s go. @ColtonYarbro
