Holding an animal that you love while it dies will fuck up your day, I kept petting him after he passed away, and I hope it was some comfort in his brain‘s last moments
@gov_greg@Her_Nonymous_D Big protects little. If your child comes home with a black eye, you instantly get your heckles up wanting to protect them. It’s easier to have an open mind when you’re the victim yourself.
@kbtvrants It’s the fact that she’s continuing to minimise Rachel’s feelings whilst simultaneously making jokes and comments about her to the group! She kicks off any time Rachel tries to explain why she’s hurting. She’s a nasty piece of work
@a_Troglodist@DougalMacGuire@ardalsfolly I obviously don’t think their deaths are funny, Father Ted has always been one of my favourite shows and I’m deeply saddened by both their deaths. It’s just a lighthearted tweet considering the coincidence of 2/3 main stars dying on the same date years apart.
I’ve seen about 30 today alone. It’s gotten to the point where I can’t even read the full posts because they hurt my heart. I just see the beginning, the picture, like it and scroll. Please make it stop 🙃
I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole. Every time I see a post on my timeline about a pet that’s passed away, my conscience won’t let me scroll by it without liking it as a way of offering my condolences. This seems to be telling the algorithm that I enjoy seeing posts about dead pets.
The fact that it featured so much of our own talent from this island, with well known faces popping up throughout… Not to mention the little nods to Derry Girls. Loved it. Well done to all involved 👏👏👏👏
Just finished watching How to get to Heaven from Belfast.
Derry Girls was great, but @LisaMMcGee has absolutely outdone herself with this show. First show I’ve watched in a long time where I’ve been shocked at the twists and turns. Incredible.
Well worth a watch!
