Little egrets (wonderful to have them back on the Green), herons, red admiral butterfly and saying goodbye to the cattle.

Work party! A reminder that we are having our last work party of the year this Sunday (6th Oct). We will be cutting back some of the bramble that, if left to its own devices, will spread across the meadow. Details below. Hope to see you there!
A reminder that we are having a work party this Sunday (18th August. We will be tackling the willow herb near to Leomansley House and hope to finish clearing the last few stands - thatβs the plan anyway! So come along anytime between 9.30 - 11.30 - hope to see you there!

Thanks to everyone who came on the work party this morning π. We cleared a big patch of willow herb near the back gateπ. We also found this beautiful caterpillar of the mullein moth on the figwort - isnβt it stunning! Next work party is on 7th July.
Our first work party of the year will be on this Sunday (16th June), anytime between 9.30 and 12.00. Please come and help us remove some of the willow herb that is growing near the Leomansley House gate. See poster and map for more information. See you there!
Thanks to everyone who came on the orchid walk yesterday that was organised by Lichfield Wildlife Group. It was great to see so many people and I hope you all had fun!
