Little egrets (wonderful to have them back on the Green), herons, red admiral butterfly and saying goodbye to the cattle.

Work party! A reminder that we are having our last work party of the year this Sunday (6th Oct). We will be cutting back some of the bramble that, if left to its own devices, will spread across the meadow. Details below. Hope to see you there!

A reminder that we are having a work party this Sunday (18th August. We will be tackling the willow herb near to Leomansley House and hope to finish clearing the last few stands - that’s the plan anyway! So come along anytime between 9.30 - 11.30 - hope to see you there!

Just a reminder that we have another work party this Sunday between 9.30 - 11.30am. See poster for details. Please remember to wear waterproof footwear - preferably wellies, as the ground is still very wet where we will be working. Come for as long as you like. 😁

A big thanks to everyone who came along to the work party this morning👏We managed to clear some big stands of willow herb, which is fantastic! 💪💪We also had some new four legged volunteers, but to be honest they weren’t that helpful and seemed happy to stand and watch! 😂🐂🐂

Thanks to everyone who came on the work party this morning 👏. We cleared a big patch of willow herb near the back gate😁. We also found this beautiful caterpillar of the mullein moth on the figwort - isn’t it stunning! Next work party is on 7th July.
