@mattbramanti Congratulations!!!! I’ve been trying to explain to people that vouchers are a lifestyle changing win. There are a lot of families in our school who have one parent working solely to pay for tuition.
@ErikBootsma I just did it with four….and a connecting flight. Grateful that my kids are good travelers and on the fence about how much they love the United Club :)
Beginning Sunday, August 30, St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Midland, TX, will become the home to a monthly Traditional Latin Mass celebrated according to the 1962 Missal in the Midland/Odessa deanery. The weekly Traditional Latin Mass at St. Margaret’s Church in San Angelo will remain unchanged.
This Mass will be offered on the last Sunday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in the Holy Family Chapel at St. Ann’s Church. It’s our hope that this time will enable people from West Texas (Lubbock, Amarillo, and El Paso) and Southeastern New Mexico (Diocese of Las Cruces) to join us for this celebration. This is just a beginning as the diocese discerns a path forward to provide for our people. Other priests of the diocese will be learning the Mass in the weeks and months ahead.
Additional information will be shared in the coming weeks. We invite you to save the date and keep @SABishopMike, our priests, and all who will participate in your prayers.
@KatiePMcGrady I flew into Denver today, too. These Texan sinuses are cracking so bad. We are in Vail for the week and thankfully it is cooler up the mountain. I did have to explain to my kids that we aren’t breathing in water so they have to drink!
I’ll never understand these moms (particularly SAHMs like me) who can’t wait for school to start again.
Summer is SO GREAT. ☀️
The world is our oyster.
We stay up late & then sleep in late.
My son has started several collections, and we’ve been hitting up antique stores every week.
We go to the zoo and the movies and museums.
We’ve taken up painting on little easels.
He swims almost every day, and we eat a lot of ice cream.
We visit my husband for lunch (we miss him when he’s at work missing the fun).
We go on vacation (at least my husband gets to enjoy that part).
And I just love my son’s company in general.
8 year olds are hilarious.
I might be more upset when he goes back to school than he is. 🥺
Fact: The SSPX directly violated the Pope’s orders when they consecrated bishops on July 1. They were excommunicated on July 2.
Fact: The German Bishop Wolfgang Bischof violated the Pope’s orders when he had a laywomen give the homily on July 22.
So where’s the excommunication?
MUNICH: A woman gave a “dialogue sermon” with Auxiliary Bishop Wolfgang Bischof this week
Appears to contradict Vatican's June ban on lay preaching
A liturgical dance also featured as part of the Mass for the feast of St Mary Magdalene

Uhhhhh, this seems kind of insane to me.
When I was in school, a "B+" was a 92 and an "A-" was a 93-95.
What was considered an A when you were in school?!
Be honest… do people actually exist who love staying home all day, completely alone, not seeing a single person, the same way some people finish a whole book in one sitting?
@BillySuhr@breeadail If all of the faithful from the local sspx moved to the fssp, the chapel would not be safe in a fire due to severe overcrowding. It hardly is after TC as is!
Issues in Vatican’s excommunication Decree on SSPX
Fr @GeraldMurray8 notes: since SSPX recv’d permission for Confession & Marriage from Pope Francis, permission must be revoked directly by a Pope
Need document from Pope Leo to remove permission
