The President of the United States is asleep at his desk. Again.
Behind him stand seven grown adults in expensive suits, and not one of them is doing anything about it. One is mid-sentence. Another is gazing sideways with the haunted look of a man whose pension depends on never acknowledging what he can see in his peripheral vision.
The rest of the world is watching, and the rest of the world has noticed something. Americans are terrified of authority. That fear has settled over this administration like a fog, and it turns otherwise functional adults into warm furniture. Nobody moves. Nobody speaks. The paralysis is total.
In any European parliament, in any boardroom from Oslo to Ljubljana, someone would have leaned over by now. Tapped a shoulder. Said, quietly but clearly, that perhaps this isn’t the moment. Somebody would have done something, because the alternative, pretending a sleeping man is running a meeting, would have been too absurd to sustain.
Not here. Here, seven men have collectively decided that the correct professional response to the President losing consciousness in the Oval Office is to carry on as though he were a particularly demanding houseplant.
🔴Can I remind our “highly trained” ACPs and PAs who are in charge of the ED that
if a patient presents with a hectic fever 💀 and a recent travel history to Egypt, please don’t fob them off with a UTI diagnosis.
⭕️There is a whole specialty called tropical diseases.
⭕️Pick up the phone and speak to the tropical diseases registrar, leave your big ego behind, and put patient safety first.
If Keir Starmer, Ed Davey or Zack Polanski or even Badenoch took a £5million bung or used the language Farage has twice..
They would be GONE. The media alone would have hounded them out of their job within a week.
There's your two tiers alright.
And it is the media.
Nigel Farage does not speak for us.
He speaks for himself, he speaks for the far right, and he speaks for his billionaire donors.
He is inciting violence and pursuing his own agenda.
We must stand united against hate!
We've written to the Secretary of State and NHS England CEO calling for urgent action to address unsafe doctor substitution by employers.
The letter comes in the wake of our survey report revealing doctors' serious concerns over patient safety. 🔗 https://t.co/tqhjxqUQU6
Robert Gros made £27m selling useless gowns via the VIP PPE Lane, of course he never paid back a penny, he bought 2 mansions instead.
RT and see if we can make him as famous as Michelle Mone.
We want to build a public database to track NHS cuts and bring total transparency to patients. But we can’t do it alone.
If everyone watching this donates just £1, we'll smash our £5k milestone tonight. One pound to hold government to account.
Link in bio to donate.
>5000 doctors raised concerns about how advanced practitioners are employed in the NHS.

The taskification of medicine must stop. Some things require a medical degree.
Here’s my second daily campaign update from sunny Worsley Mesnes.
Today I’ve been speaking personally to undecided voters, listening to them and directly addressing the difficult issues.
My message is clear: I am standing to change Labour.
Some notes on my work ethic:
-I last voted in Parliament on 18 March, so I haven’t done my job for ten weeks.
-I’ve never held any face-to-face constituency surgeries, despite apparently having £5 million to spend on security.
-I refuse to do interviews or face press scrutiny of any sort.
-when I was in the European Parliament I had the 4th worst attendance record out of 748 MEPs.
-although I did manage to turn up to vote AGAINST plans to tackle Russian misinformation.
-I was on the Fisheries Committee but I only turned up to ONE out of 42 meetings.
-but I will of course be taking my £73,000 EU pension.
Vote Reform, get lazy, grifting, self-serving sacks of shit.
🔴 Another patient was rescued from being killed by an Advanced Practitioner in A&E.
This ACP dude, who could be a physio, paramedic, or even a pharmacist, doesn’t know how to read ECGs and missed a potentially fatal heart attack (STEMI) 💀☠️
⭕️ The patient could’ve arrested in the waiting room.
⭕️ The shameless EM consultant knew the ACP didn’t have a clue about ECGs, yet allowed them to have a crack.
⭕️ They didn’t introduce themselves properly.
God knows how many patients have been killed and brushed under the carpet by NHS Trusts.
Our petition is picking up steam: have you signed yet?
We are calling on the new Health Secretary, James Murray to stop Wes Streeting's new Health Plan, which proposes that some NHS staff are substituted by Artificial Intelligence.
Please sign now: we need more NHS staff, not artificial intelligence!

The NHS needs more radiologists, yet doctors are still being turned away from training to read scans.
In 2025, 4,011 doctors applied for just 356 radiology training jobs (around 11 applicants per place), while record sums are spent outsourcing scan reporting to private firms.
Jenny wants choice.
She has terminal cancer that has spread to her bones. She knows what pain could lie ahead.
The assisted dying bill gives dying people hope.
Hope that they won’t have to suffer. Hope that they can say goodbye to their loved ones on their own terms.
MPs must bring this bill back.
Britain’s voting system is broken. 70 MPs are backing an amendment to finally review it.
But to make an impact, we need many more. I’ve urged my MP to support it with this tool. Can you contact yours too? https://t.co/DeEwDDjjgY
We are extremely saddened to learn of the recent passing of supporter Peter Myers.
Peter was a lifelong fan and spent his final day doing what he loved, cheering on the Bulls!
Our thoughts and condolences are with Peter's nearest and dearest at this difficult time.
