If you’re a forex trader who is still struggling, or you’re just a hustler struggling in general, calm down and read this story to the end.

Back in 2019, when things weren’t this good for me, I was still struggling as a trader. There was this girl on Instagram. We started talking, the connection was building and we were cool. Sometimes we would be on calls for hours and everything was good.

Then all of a sudden, I noticed she stopped giving me the same attention. Sometimes I would send her a message and it would take 3–4 days before she replied. And when she eventually replied, it would just be “hi” or “hello” like nothing happened. The energy was just completely different.

Then one day, I saw that she posted another guy and captioned it “my love.” When I saw the picture, I immediately understood what was going on. The guy had chains, tattoos and they were standing in front of a Benz GLK.

At that time, I couldn’t compete with that kind of lifestyle. And I won’t lie to you, it was painful. But what could I do? I had to let go and focus on myself.

About a year later, I noticed she had travelled out of the country. Today I’d see her post pictures with her man in England, tomorrow Spain, next tomorrow Paris and so on. It was painful to watch, but I didn’t let it get to me. I just focused on my trading, my work and myself.

Fast forward to when I got my GLE 53 AMG Coupé. She suddenly messaged me and congratulated me after years of barely replying to my messages on WhatsApp. I simply said “thanks” and kept it moving. She tried to initiate a conversation, but I didn’t entertain it.

Then fast forward again to yesterday.

I received a message from the same girl. She told me she was stranded and having problems with immigration in England. She had to leave the country and come back to Nigeria. She also told me things were financially tight for her and asked if I could help her and accommodate her in my house until she could get back on her feet.

Lol.

Honestly, I was shocked. Not because she needed help, but because I wondered what made her think she still had that kind of access to me after all these years. What does she take me for? What makes her think I would still be available like nothing happened?
Why not other ladies like her ? Why me in particular? For how long too ? lol

But there’s a bigger lesson I want you to take from this.

If you’re a forex trader and you’re struggling right now, never give up on your dream.

There will be moments when you look around and feel like everyone else is ahead of you. You’ll see people flexing cars, trips, money and lifestyles while you’re still trying to figure things out.

Don’t let that discourage you.

Keep learning. Keep working. Keep improving yourself. Keep building.

And don’t let people flaunting questionable money make you feel like you’re behind in life. Build something legitimate. Build something sustainable. Build something that can still be standing years from now.

Your current situation is not your final destination.

Stay patient. Stay focused. Keep going.
