🧵 here's what you need to know to get started ↓
@NomadTreepwood@cosone7@TheyCallMeToru Right, so developers are supposed to make players who go all-in play with weights on their hands or with their eyes blindfolded. I guess that’s what “fairness” looks like to people who simply don’t want to put in the work to win.
@NomadTreepwood@TheyCallMeToru I’m not sure what “a pyrrhic victory” means exactly. But this win came at a huge price — sleepless nights and nonstop parallel work across four to six chats every minute. I know that from the outside, things like this usually just look like luck. Maybe that’s for the best.
@TheyCallMeToru@NomadTreepwood When someone approaches me respectfully and offers friendship, I accept.
If it later turns out that my faction and my ally’s faction are the strongest in the game, I don’t see that as a reason to break the alliance.
Probably that just means I’m a coward 🙂
@NomadTreepwood The only thing that concerns me in this post is a point that’s missing from it. I’ve never heard the Crusaders complain about the high cost of joining, even though that barrier clearly benefited them by lowering competition for leaderboard medals.
@NomadTreepwood This is a very good post. I agree with almost every word in it.
Indeed, the Overseer faction has a player with over 100 accounts, as well as followers who each control 50+ accounts. All of this power is deliberately focused exclusively on attacking the Summoners.
