How do we explain to our younger children why Ariel is now a different color, but she's the same mermaid. Why is being white now racist? If Ariel was any color but white, the Ariel in the new movie should not be called Ariel.

I am so fed up with this woke world we are living in. Why does Disney feel it's right to take a beloved character like Ariel, the redheaded mermaid into the same Ariel with red hair, but no longer white?
