@CAB_ProfPerazio i came across this adorable tiktok last night of horses playing the piano! turns out this is a repetitive behavior between the owner and the musical livestock - some intentional, voluntary, relaxing, object play for these horses! https://t.co/sw06AWfISW

@spaceyyycasey not me learning this today right now

@CAB_ProfPerazio one of my favorite documentaries is "Dancing with the Birds" on Netflix! it showcases some incredible male courtship displays across bird species, most all of which follow the premise of Bateman's principle regarding female choice and varied reproductive success.

Learning to stand and walk, while we may think of it as "learning," is more likely a new behavior associated with its developmental life stage rather than an actual case of individual learning. (2/2)

@CAB_ProfPerazio one of the cows at my boyfriend's family farm had a baby! This little guy has a lot to learn in his first few days - for one, becoming habituated to his new home in the barn where bright lights and human presence are new, unfamiliar stimuli. (1/2)

Imagine if Republicans in the Senate worked as fast to pass COVID-19 relief as they are working to confirm Amy Coney Barrett.

The next time someone tells you we “can’t afford” the Green New Deal, remind them that climate inaction is predicted to cost $520,000,000,000 every year by 2090.

Fans booing during a moment for unity makes it obvious this was never about the flag.

A 17 year old white supremacist domestic terrorist drove across state lines, armed with an AR 15.

He shot and killed 2 people who had assembled to affirm the value, dignity, and worth of Black lives.

Fix your damn headlines.

When I say retweet this to save a life I literally MEAN retweet this to save a life

Raise awareness and share this story! Mauritius is a tiny island off the coast of Africa. There are many Africans there who depend entirely on the sea. It is their entire life force. This is truly devastating news

[Angie Thomas @angiecthomas]

Every day that Breonna Taylor's killers walk free, it becomes more and more apparent that cops can walk into your home, kill you, and get away with it.

If y'all aren't angry about that, I don't know what to say.
