Waiting is not easy. We feel exhausted at times, on the verge of giving up. We may even lower our expectations. But we have to press on because only You know when the time is right. Almighty. Keep our faith firm while waiting, trusting You always.
Dr Sylvia Wanzala of the University of Minnesota is battling a terminal illness, and her only wish is to return home to Uganda 🇺🇬 to spend her remaining time surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Any contribution, no matter how small, can help make her final wish a reality.
Every contribution will bring her one step closer to her home in Uganda.

60 days ago, I committed to writing one "My Son" post every morning.
On one hand, it was a way to share knowledge; on the other, a way to refine my storytelling. It's done exactly what I hoped it would, so I’m officially pausing the daily commitment.
I’ll still be posting, just at a more natural pace. Thank you to everyone who engaged with the series.

You aren’t poor. Your country is poor.
Just look at the math behind two events from yesterday:
🇺🇸 Andrew Wilson paid Candace Owens $300,000 for a single studio debate.
🇺🇬 King Saha packed out Kololo. But to gross that same $300k, he needed to sell 55,000 tickets at 20,000 UGX.
The conclusion is simple: It takes an insane amount of energy to make the exact same money in a developing economy.

Sometimes we’re carrying burdens, weighed down by trouble, living worried. We're trying to fix it all in our own strength. The Scripture says, “Cast your burdens on the Lord, release the weight of it, and He will sustain you.” If you’ll release the burden, quit trying to figure it all out, losing sleep, letting your mind work overtime, then God will carry you.
The Scripture says, “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God.” You have to use spiritual weapons. You have the power of prayer. You have the name of Jesus. You have the Word of God. You can speak His promises over your situation.
