@BadlandsTOJ@bobborinaldo The entire game in New England 2022 but if I had to pick one play from that the punt return.
Then: Fitz interception in Buffalo, Rodgers Achilles, Antonio Browns catch in the AFC championship game
Wow. Wembanyama stuck his foot under Brunson on a 3-pointer. Refs ignored it. If that's called a flagrant, Wemby would be suspended for next game (if there's one).
A potentially momentous non-call.
Theory I’m so confident in: Mike Breen was going to debut the triple BANG if the Brunson shot went down, which is why he instead did a triple “it’s good”
The call on KAT changed the game. It was horrendous.
What followed was multiple missed goaltends, missed out of bounds calls, and legitimately every single being made to keep Wemby happy.
If Brunson hadn’t kept his cool and had run up on Wemby, the refs would’ve snap called a tech on Jalen, reviewed the play & 100% have given Wemby a flagrant.
Instead, Brunson was a pro and Wemby gets to completely skate on it. Doesn’t seem right to me.
Green light for Wemby to continue to play recklessly the rest of the series.
NBA doesn’t want to risk having their golden child suspended.
What a joke. Knicks vs Everyone.
Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama should be retroactively assessed flagrant 1 today for throwing Jalen Brunson to court
It’s clear as day, and there’s recent precedent — Mason Plumlee was given one retroactively in WCF for something less egregious
If NBA does nothing here, it’s a joke
Jalen Brunson: Smallest player on the court. Shoved in the chest, neck, and head. No calls.
Wemby: Biggest player on the court. Breathed on and misses. Immediate whistle.
No flagrant on Wemby
No flagrant on Castle
Both committed clear hostile acts. Can be argued that Wemby should’ve been ejected
Flagrant on Brunson for that absolute nonsense
5 on 8. Again
Mike Brown: “Maybe we fouled 24 times but I’m baffled by (Spurs getting called for just 10 fouls in second half).”
“If they do this in Game 4…it’s going to be tough for us to win,” Mike Brown says of foul discrepancy/uneven calls in Game 3.
This is INSANE, the refs let the Knicks inbound the ball and then called the play dead for a substitution after play already started.
WTF am I missing??
