It wasn’t even these 3 Ethiopians that were beating up South Africans 2 weeks ago! It was a whole lot of them that took over the whole street, beating up people and one man was was lying there on the floor close to death but WHERE WAS THE OUTRAGE? WHERE WAS THE MEDIA??
I can’t get over the fact that SARS taxes your salary, and after that they tax the same taxed salary when you buy everything…….From groceries, to clothing and petrol. It really amazes me.
This AKA and Tibz trial seems to have well investigated evidence, and the hitmen are going to have a tough time escaping accountability. It’s just unfortunate that we may never know who the mastermind behind it all is.
Tony Forbes deserves credit for following up on this case. At least there’s hope that it won’t end up like the Senzo Meyiwa case, where so many questions still remain unanswered.
I have been banned from speaking on things like this, but I blame both senior and junior lawyer.
The Senior is testing the junior's knowledge of procedural law. The junior is reasonably expected to know from Civil Litigation that this is prohibited and is supposed to challenge the instruction during briefing. Since the junior presumably did not pay attention to this at law school, they will learn in court.
A lawyer is expected to stand their ground especially when it comes to the content of the law. Every lawyer - junior or senior - owes their first duty to the court, and must test every instruction received from their client or principal for fidelity with the law. Failure to do this will lead to repercussions.
Junior lawyers should not be afraid to discuss procedural tactics with their principals. This thing you call "sending lawyers to court unprepared and setting them up for drags" is what gives most juniors a wake-up call to verify every instruction received for fidelity with the law. Of course the senior can also be kind and spoon feed you with the knowledge, same way the junior could also have paid attention at the law school and debated the tactic with the senior.
Lol when they resign now, we calculate future maintenance and take it from the pension fund as a lump sum.
Oksalayo ingane will be fed, these tricks don’t work anymore
He actually killed a woman who was driving a Hyundaii20 in Ekhuruleni while he was driving drunk. He then went to hospital, called Julius Mkhwanazi to meet him there and made Julius Mkhwanazi take blood tests on his behalf so he would be cleared of drunk driving. He is a sick man
MySol said something I’ve been advocating for all the time.. when are we going to normalise black excellence? Who is supposed to drive these fancy cars? Why is it when it’s one of us, we throw our toys? It got me thinking how our people are soo mentally damaged. It’s sad!
i went down a rabbit hole about Rwanda & learned that apparently, in the 11 years that women have occupied leadership positions in Rwanda, poverty went down from 60% to 34%… I’m so impressed!
Our members were at the border to access the situation and shame nobody is even bothering themselves to check documents, it’s just a freeway‼️‼️🤦♀️🤦♀️
