If there is a unnerving thought that I have from time to time, it’s that while Jack Smith, the CIA, FBI, NSA and other national security related agencies…may know exactly what intelligence documents Trump had/has, and possibly what bad actors may have had access to them, they likely have no way of knowing, when, how…and by whom, this information might be used in the future, to attack or otherwise bring harm to American citizens and innocent people around the world.

This is what Donald Trump…a former President of the United States of America….has done to us. This is the vulnerable position that Trump was happily willing to put this country in for his personal gain and ego.

There have already been people working on behalf of our national security who have lost their lives around the globe, because of the recklessness and the irresponsibility with which he handled his Presidency. There will likely be more.

Interesting fact: Tony Bennett was demoted during World War II because he ate with a black soldier before racial integration. Tony Bennett invited his Black friend, Frank Smith, to dine with him at a time when soldiers were still officially segregated. As a result, a bigoted officer demoted Bennett from corporal to private and reassigned him to a unit that exhumed mass graves and prepared the bodies of soldiers for shipment back home[1]. This incident was an example of the widespread prejudice and discrimination that existed in the army during that time[1]. Tony Bennett later became an advocate for civil rights and joined Dr. Martin Luther King during the 1965 civil rights march in Alabama[1].

In 1944, a group of white men lynched Reverend Isaac Simmons, a minister and farmer who owned 270 acres of land in Mississippi because they believed the land had oil deposits. Goal- to steal his land and profit from it.

Oh, they weren’t finished after killing the Reverend. The men then brutally beat his son and ran him out of the county.

This is one story of many where racially motivated killings of Black people in the Jim Crow South resulted in farms and land being violently stolen to profit and benefit white farmers.

WTF: A woman in court testifying to overturn a Texas law that forced her to give birth to a fetus with no chance of living got so upset she just THREW UP.

THANK YOU Samantha Casiano, for sharing your pain, to help so many others.

But what the Texas AG said in court was insane:

First, they said you and the other 12 women sharing your dangerous experiences of Texas' anti-abortion law are only doing so because you are on an "ideological crusade".

Next, the Texas AG team ADMITTED you were harmed but said it's "in the past".

THEN, when one woman testified about being denied an abortion for her nonviable pregnancy, they had the balls to OBJECT and say her testimony was IRRELEVANT.

I'm so furious right now. My home state of Texas is f**king nightmare.

Join me in thanking these brave 13 women and Center for Reproductive Rights for forcing Greg Abbott's Texas to hear these stories in court.

Unveiling Global Inequality: The Biased Lens of Media Coverage

The wall-to-wall coverage of the Titanic Sub has once again shed light on the persisting racism deeply ingrained in our world.

While the tragic loss of life deserves our utmost sympathy, it is essential to acknowledge the stark contrast in media attention given to different incidents.

Just the same week, another ship sank, resulting in the deaths of numerous immigrants.

However, their plight has been conveniently overlooked by mainstream media.

This blatant disparity in coverage compels us to question the values our society holds dear.

The sinking of a ship carrying hopeful migrants from Libya to Italy, near Greece, should have resonated with the international community.

But as the world came together to celebrate the International Day of Refugees, not a single mention of this tragedy made its way into the headlines.

It is a sobering realization that our society seems to prioritize the lives and stories of the privileged while turning a blind eye to the suffering of the less fortunate.

The media's selective focus on incidents like the Titanic Sub reveals a disheartening truth: our world seems to care only about billionaires, disregarding the countless lives lost and dreams shattered within marginalized communities.

As we witness this unequal distribution of empathy and compassion, we must question the inherent biases within our society and challenge the status quo.

Let us not forget that the voices of the unheard are just as important, if not more so, than those amplified by the media.

The lives lost in the recent shipwreck deserve recognition, remembrance, and justice.

By acknowledging these neglected stories and advocating for a more equitable media landscape, we can work towards dismantling the systemic racism and socioeconomic inequality that perpetuate this skewed perception of value.
