One day, a young boy was walking through the forest when he came across a tiny animal he had never seen before.

It was small, soft, and surprisingly calm around him. The boy had no idea what it was, but he didn’t want to leave it alone in the woods, so he decided to take it home.

From that day on, he looked after the little creature like a pet. He fed it every day, played with it, and made sure it had everything it needed.

Weeks passed, then months, and eventually years went by.

But something strange started to bother him.

The animal never seemed to grow.

No matter how much time passed, it stayed almost exactly the same size as the day he found it.

The boy couldn’t understand it. He had cared for this little animal for years, yet it still looked as tiny as ever.

So what exactly had he found in that forest?

And why wasn’t this mysterious little creature growing?
