In 2018, I joined a campaign honoring Jelida Gaichuiri, a 14-year-old who died from FGM complications. In 2025, visiting her memorial reminded me of the power of youth-led activism in pushing for justice and change. The fight continues to end harmful practices and protect future generations. @YouthAntiFGMKe @NinaSociety @UNFPAKen @AFGMBoard @GNBKenya
