I’ve been really critical of Slot but I get the feeling he did this because he was unsure of the reception he was going to get around the stadium, two days ago there was a Slot Out banner at the AXA, he probably didn’t want to harm any reception for the players.
I really struggle with people who say:
“I get that he had to deal with Jota dying, the squad not being finished after his title winning side was dismantled and he’s had a load of bad luck with injuries and refereeing decisions… BUT”
🤯 #LFC
I’m in awe at how angry people get over Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards. The same people who thought they were gurus last summer. Football fans need to be studied in depth, fascinating stuff.
Liverpool fans slowly becoming the very thing we used to mock…
and now there’s a live petition to sack one of the youngest managers in history to ever win the premier league, in a year when a player has tragically died.
I’m fucking embarrassed 🤢
@elite_balltakes “Alienate” as in Alisson can’t stay healthy, Salah has clearly lost a step and Robbo is a great back LB, but he’s not an every game LB anymore. So.
@adamlfc230507@BurtMacklinSOB In a vacuum, you might be right. But seasons don’t happen in a vacuum. A lot of new players in key positions. Lots of injuries to those same players, so they don’t integrate as quickly. Oh and a key, well liked player literally died before the start of the season.
Kinda grateful for this season. Shown up like 75% of our supporters as no different from any other club's, just looking for any opportunity to despise anyone who isn't Klopp.
@Carl_M79 Clearly slot must go. You’ll never walk alone except if you win the league one season and have an unlucky/transition season with new players the next. Then you must be fired.
No one is ready for the real solution to Gerrymandering:
A return to the Constitution's original standard of 1 Member of Congress for every 30,000 Americans, resulting in an 11,000-member House with city-council sized districts so small you can't Gerrymander them if you tried.
There are self professed 'Liverpool supporters' actually angry that we've scored a last minute winner in the derby, as it means they can't hound a title winning manager out the club.
Let sink in as a reflection of your average modern football fan.
Grim.
