Veve messed up big time today ☹️

During today’s Little Prince drop, several people reported getting the dreaded “sorry you were not selected this time” message while participating in the waitlist system.

For big drops that sell out, this is normal. But for a drop that still has 40% of the supply sitting in the store, this shouldn’t be happening. 1,402 of the 3,443 Little Prince supply is still available for sale.

Instead of paying $30 retail, people that got the dreaded message noticed that the collectible was selling in the marketplace for around $22. As such, they obviously chose to pass on the opportunity to pay more at retail. Now as you could imagine, this is money that Veve left on the table.

What makes it even worse is that some people who otherwise would have purchased the collectible decided not to buy it at all. After all, when a collectible is selling below retail in the secondary secondary market, it gives off the perception that it isn’t valuable.

This is all due to an unnecessary message that made it seem like the collectible had sold out.

Dear Veve, please work on fixing this problem. And while you’re at it, please consider reducing the supply for drops like these to no more than 2,000.
