After speaking with Kurdish leaders of the autonomous Kurdistan Region, President Trump is open to supporting armed groups to weaken Iran.
These armed groups are likely the Kurds of course.
There’s just one major problem, U.S. was just in an alliance with the Kurds in Syria and Tom Barrack ended up betraying the Kurds for radical Islamists to appease Turkey and Erdogan.
The term Barrack specifically used was “expired.”
How will this be different? While the Kurds are eager to change the regime and liberate Rojhelat, East Kurdistan, Kurds need guarantees so they are not screwed again.
Kurds in Iran must demand complete internationally recognized autonomy with advanced weapons and security guarantees—written, public and backed by Congress and the Europeans.
I told you this was going to be an issue, Kurds in Syria should have never been betrayed because the Kurds in Iran were paying close attention.
New York Post reports that Venezuelan soldiers say that the U.S. used some form of a “sonic” or directed-energy weapon during their raid to capture Nicolás Maduro.
The weapon allegedly disabled radar and incapacitated soldiers.
“At one point, they launched something; I don’t know how to describe it,” one soldier stated.
“It was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt like my head was exploding from the inside.”
He claimed the effects were immediate and severe.
“We all started bleeding from the nose. Some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move,” he said, adding that troops “couldn’t even stand up after that sonic weapon — or whatever it was.”
