It's not a sexy routine, but goddamn - it gets you sexy results.
Prediction: remote work accelerates the trend of startup employees holding fractional roles across a portfolio of companies with diversified equity and cash compensation.
Focusing on one vs. fractionalizing across multiple companies will both be viable as this trend mainstreams.
