Early in my career, one of the areas I struggled with most was professional networking.

Part of it came from my introverted nature and another part probably came from a misunderstanding of what networking truly is.

That began to change when I became intentional about learning, reading books, observing from a distance, and seeking mentorship from those who had mastered the art of building relationships.

Over time, intentional networking started to open doors. Looking back today, it would be an understatement to talk about my career growth without mentioning the role networking has played.

Networking is no longer about being loud or transactional for me, it’s about value, trust, and long-term relationships.

I’m glad that today, I’ll be sharing these insights with @TPCProfclub Professionals Club (TPC) members, as we unpack purposeful networking and how it can accelerate career growth.
