@Argonaut1535 Saw this one in person at a special exhibition in Warsaw about the costume through the ages. One of my favourite helmets and Filippo Negroli is an absolute master. The details are incredible up close, you can see the care put into every single millimetre of the piece.

@okaydrawboy TYSM! I did not expect such a great artist to reply to my silly question! I'm working hard following your advice and trying to find a comfortable way for me to abstract the houndskull. Also I just wanna say I love the way you render and shade metal I think it's incredible.

@All_Lee24 @okaydrawboy Thank you! And yeah understanding the design makes sense, like sallets were quite easy for me to draw without much practice maybe because I already knew a lot about their functions, so it's time to learn some more about these cute beaks

@Knightly_Hist I absolutely adore how the engraved suits featuring the peascod use the engravings to form lines that guide your eyes to the peacod itself. It's like saying "look at mah belly" with the armour itself xD
