transsexuality is not ideological, it is biological… and there is neurological evidence for it

Zhou et al (1995) found that a small region inside the brain relating to things like stress responses, sex related behaviour, hormones and other aspects of the body and social processing are typically closer in line with the opposite sex that they were assigned at birth

it suggests (although a small study) that transsexual people are prenatally neurologically intersex, having developed in the womb physiologically in one sex characteristic direction and neurologically in another

this test had controls and was not only done on transsexual women. it also tested, cismen & women and also used comparison subjects like men who had undergone similar hormonal treatments due to certain testicular cancers AND it even studied transsexual women who had NOT undergone any gender affirming hormone replacement or surgery, finding the same results to those that had. proving that it was not caused by the treatment itself

the reason the study is conducted on so few is the sheer niche nature of how truly infinitesimal transsexual people truly are within society… not only do transsexual women whom have undergone medical treatment and received a diagnosis of gender dysphoria likely make up somewhere between 0.005% (yes that few) and around 0.01% of the population… most transsexual women not wish to be outed as such… to put it into perspective that could be as few as 1 in 20,000.

follow up studies by Kruijver et al (2000) etc found a similar pattern in BSTc neuron numbers with transsexual womens’results closer to ciswomen’s than men’s…

i look forward to a day where future ultra high resolution MRI style machines make testing for such things feasible in living people…
