@TorontoTeacherX Problem is some locals came forwards asking to vote on the agreement…government got word and said let your members decide. Why would government budge now knowing some like the deal? CUPE got screwed.

@LiaDePauw @krushowy @osbcucscso Education Workers have not been on strike. Those were teachers. They have always taken what they were told to…now they are quitting and no one wants those jobs…there is no job security and no one to work 🤷🏻‍♀️

They had secretaries in the office for communication between families and students. At no time were education workers the cause of your kids being home during covid…that was Ford!

@Christi54776452 @Sflecce Kids do need stability…all kids. What about the kid who goes to school and doesn’t have an EA? Where is their stability? For the students in that class who don’t have teacher support. For the mom who has to leave work because their child needs stability…

@TheDavidBrent15 @parentaction4ed Remember this is education workers not teachers. This was the first time education workers went on strike. Usually they would take the deal which was almost always 0%. Don’t compare the two and let them stand up for what they believe is right. Job security and more support!
