A year ago, I stepped out of a very comfortable life in India.

A home that felt like home.
A stable job.
People who had been part of my everyday rhythm for years.

And I chose to move to the UAE - not for comfort, but to grow at an international scale.

Like anyone who makes that move, there’s always a silent question in the back of your mind - “Did I make the right call?”

Over the past few days, with everything happening around the region, that question could have easily turned into doubt.

But it didn’t.

Because what you see here is not panic.
No chaos.
No noise.

You see systems working.
You see calm.
You see leadership that understands responsibility - not just for its citizens, but for millions of people who have chosen this country to build something bigger.

That’s not easy to build. And it’s definitely not easy to maintain in moments like these.

It gives you a quiet kind of confidence - the kind you don’t talk about much, but you feel it.

Moving countries will always come with trade-offs.

You don’t truly understand a country’s strength in its best times - you see it in moments of uncertainty. In moments like this, you realize what you’ve gained.

And it matters.

Hats off to the leadership for building and sustaining this environment. And with that feeling of confidence and safety that the region has provided we as a family stayed back in the UAE, continue to build our life here.

@FABConnects An AANI transfer was debited from my account but never credited to the recipient. A complaint was raised, yet no one can explain where the transaction is.

Reaching customer care is frustrating - the IVR loops endlessly and struggles to connect to a human. After 2 attempts and 17+ minutes on calls I was able to reach a human and the issue is still unresolved.

@etihad We had hoped for a smoother journey while traveling with our 2-year-old. Unfortunately, the team at the Delhi terminal did not allow early check-in, even though most airlines extend priority to families with toddler. Disappointing experience 😞
