@mainbhiengineer The Indian job market was already cooked. Now every laid-off person from US/India is also applying for the same hybrid Hyderabad AI roles. Timing is brutal.
Microsoft is offering buyout to 60000 employees, that's like 1 out of every 4 employees will be jobless due to AI.
The bigger problem is now job market will be filled with so many additional people searching for job in a market which already has very less jobs.
Earlier US based employees used to be affected by layoffs but now it's happening in India also. More layoffs, more job seekers, less jobs, more competition, scary times to lose the job.
@leoleotoobad CLI feels faster once muscle memory is there, but desktop wins when you’re context-switching between projects and don’t want to fight the terminal.
Some Jio free Google AI Pro users are reporting access to Gemini 4 Argon, Claude Opus 5.5, and Sonnet 5.5 in Antigravity.
Others on the same trial still can't see these models.
Could be a gradual rollout or inconsistent account permissions. Nothing officially confirmed yet.
If you're on a Jio trial, open Antigravity and check your model list.
Claude writing 90% of its own code is wild, but the entry-level drop is the part that actually hurts.
Still grinding DSA while the models ship features overnight 😭
Anthropic's CEO said AI would write most of our code, run cyberattacks and start taking entry-level jobs. All 3 are happening.
Here's what Dario Amodei called, and what he says comes next.
Already happened:
✅ AI writing 90% of code: Anthropic now says Claude writes about 90% of Claude Code's own code.
✅ AI-run cyberattacks: Anthropic caught a Chinese state-backed group using Claude Code to run 80 to 90% of a hacking campaign against about 30 targets.
✅ Entry-level jobs going first: Anthropic's own junior technical hires just fell from 27% to 9%.
✅ AI "like a generally well educated human" within 2 to 3 years: He said it in 2023.
Still pending:
⏳ AI-led cyberattacks becoming "a serious and unprecedented threat to the integrity of computer systems" worldwide.
⏳ A swarm of AI agents able to take over the entire internet, within 6 to 12 months of September 2026.
⏳ AI "smarter than a Nobel Prize winner across most relevant fields" as early as 2026. 10 weeks left.
⏳ AI doing most or all of a software engineer's job, end to end, by January 2027.
⏳ The first one-person company worth $1B.
⏳ Half of all entry-level white-collar jobs gone, and US unemployment at 10 to 20%, by 2030.
Which of the pending ones lands first?
AI shouldn’t be controlled by a handful of companies.
The future belongs to systems where everyone can access, shape, and contribute to intelligence.
We need to stop being passive users of AI and start building a more open, distributed future.
Today distributed cognition exits out of stealth with backing by Verdict Capital.
Our mission is to replicate humanity's collective intelligence.

Most of today's AI power is held in the hands of a few, who can choose what you're allowed to think and what you're permitted to do.
We stand on three substantially different foundational beliefs:
- You shouldn't ask permission for intelligence.
- Superintelligence will be a distributed collective.
- Humans are not meant to be relegated to a permanent underclass.
If we don't distribute intelligence, nobody will.

Use whatever tool helps you ship. Just make sure you understand the code when things break.
The real flex isn't the AI you use. It's knowing what you're building.
A developer turned Claude Code into his entire job-search assistant - and says it ended with a signed contract.
The repo is called ai-job-search.
His reported numbers:
69 applications
20 first interviews
1 signed contract
You set up your profile once, then Claude Code can find openings, score them for fit, tailor your CV, draft a cover letter, review the application with another agent, and help prep for interviews.
The workflow is surprisingly simple:
/setup
/scrape
/apply
/interview
Job postings are also treated as untrusted input, so hidden instructions inside them aren't supposed to control the agent.
