A voice-agent demo should include the moments that break a script: a borrower interrupting, asking to repeat a detail, or changing the question. Test how the conversation recovers—not only how polished the opening sounds.
“Connected” isn’t a useful outcome by itself. A call may end in a callback request, account query, dispute, wrong-party response or resolved question. Clear categories help the next step fit what the borrower actually said.
A collection call needs a clear stop point. If a borrower disputes the account, asks for a person, or the conversation turns sensitive, the agent should pause and route it appropriately. In NBFC voice AI, escalation behavior deserves as much testing as the opening script.
A borrower shouldn’t have to guess who’s calling or why.
For lending voice AI, name the lender and explain the call in plain language. A polished voice means little without a transparent opening.
NBFC demo test: would the borrower understand why they were called?
A borrower may switch from Hindi to English mid-call. The conversation should keep its context, so they don’t have to repeat a detail just to be understood.
When testing voice AI for lending, try a real language switch—not only a polished, single-language script.
“Documents pending” is a status, not an instruction.
Which document? Where should it go? What happens next?
That’s the bar I want for DubCall’s borrower follow-ups. A natural voice needs accurate application context behind it.
My favourite test for an NBFC voice-AI demo: “I dispute this amount.”
Does the agent keep pushing, invent an answer, or capture the issue and hand it over?
For DubCall, knowing when to stop is a product principle. A smooth script alone is not enough.
“Successful call” is too vague to put on an invoice.
Connected, callback requested, application completed—different events, different value.
For DubCall, outcome-based pricing starts with agreeing what counts and how to verify it.
“Kal shaam ko call karna” is a scheduling request.
A useful AI voice agent confirms the time and passes context to the next conversation.
That’s a product principle for DubCall: the borrower shouldn’t have to start from zero on every call.
A collections team should not spend its best people asking the same question thousands of times:
“Will you be able to pay this EMI?”
AI can capture the outcome and route hardship or dispute cases to humans.
That is how lending operations scale with empathy.

The best collections metric is not calls completed.
It is: did the borrower take a verified next step?
• payment link opened
• promise-to-pay captured
• KYC completed
• exception handed to a human
AI Voice Employees should be accountable for workflow progress—not minutes.
Banks do not need AI calls.
They need verified outcomes:
• KYC completed
• payment link delivered
• promise-to-pay captured
• applicant moved forward
• complex case escalated to a human
That is the standard for AI Voice Employees.
Pay for outcomes, not call minutes.
More calls do not improve collections.
A borrower may be waiting for salary day, prefer another language, or need a human for a dispute.
The question is not: “How many calls?”
It is: “What should happen next?”
AI Voice Employees need context.

Why should lenders pay for AI calls that achieve nothing?
AI pricing should be outcome-based:
• Payment commitment
• Completed KYC
• Follow-up completed
• Query resolved
AI Voice Employees should be accountable for completed work—not minutes consumed.

Just came across EarlyCEO and it genuinely looks interesting.
