As the second phase of polling concludes in West Bengal on April 29, attention turns to the counting day on May 4. The state has witnessed significant shifts in its political landscape over the past few elections.

In the last three Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) steadily increased its seat share from 184 in 2011 to 215 in 2021. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which did not win a single seat in 2011, emerged as the primary opposition in 2021 with 77 seats, replacing the Left Front and the Indian National Congress.

जेएनयू जैसे संस्थान को तबाह करना देश के साथ किया गया एक ऐसा पाप है जिसके लिए हैवानों को माफ़ नहीं किया जा सकता। यहां के छात्र-छात्राओं द्वारा चुने गये यूनियन के अधिकारियों को निलम्बित करना, वाजिब मांगों को लेकर प्रतिरोध करने वाली कम्युनिटी के साथ बर्बरता से पेश आने वाले प्रशासन में बैठे लोगों के अंदर कोई नैतिक बल नहीं है कि वे संस्थान को चला सकें। शांतिपूर्ण तरीक़े से कई दिनों से बैठे अपने ही स्ट्यूडेंट्स के साथ कोई संवाद नहीं। अरे, गतिरोध समाप्त कराने के लिए, मांगों को सुनने के लिए आपके अंदर कोई भावना ही नहीं बची है! किसी दिन यूं ही टहलते हुए धरने पर बैठे लोगों से मिल आना चाहिए था। निलम्बन वापस ले लेना चाहिए था।

इस तरह के अड़ियल रवैये के साथ आप क्या संस्थान चलाओगे? ऊपर से आए दिन अंटशंट बयान देकर अपनी कुंठा का प्रदर्शन करती रहती हैं। कुलपति या किसी पद पर बैठे व्यक्ति के अंदर विवेक और सहिष्णुता होने चाहिए। इस तरह का रुख अपना कर आप इसके उत्थान में कोई योगदान नहीं दे सकतीं। संस्थान-निर्माण के बग़ैर राष्ट्र-निर्माण की बात करना अश्लीलता भरा संदेश फैलाना है!

पर याद रहे, जेएनयू ज़िंदा रहेगा। आप यहां खिल आए इस वसंत को जला नहीं सकतीं! रोज़ निकलेगी बात फूलों की...

Democracy on Auto Pilot: The Election Commission Watches as Power Plays Unfold.”

If anyone still believes the Election Commission is “neutral” in Bihar, they’re living in another world.

Its role has shrunk to holding press conferences and prove Rahul Gandhi wrong ? while every misuse of power by the ruling government unfolds in front of it like a public drama.

A few days before the polls were announced, the government rolled out a scheme transferring ₹10,000 to women’s bank accounts not to a few thousand people, but to 21 lakh women at once. And right after that, the election was announced the ruling government dumps ₹10,000 into accounts, Then, even more shocking: every Friday, during the election period, ₹10,000 kept getting transferred to women’s accounts. Week after week. Transfer after transfer And the Election Commission? Silent. Watching. Pretending nothing is happening.

The EC claims its job is to ensure a “level playing field” for all political parties.
But tell me: what level playing field exists when lakhs of women receive money just days before voting?

That one transfer influences four more voters. Ec you’re not running an election you’re running a state sponsored voter buying scheme.

What makes this worse is the sheer hypocrisy.

The same Election Commission that has stopped similar welfare schemes in non-BJP states immediately after the Model Code of Conduct comes into force… suddenly does not see any violation in Bihar. Suddenly, money transfers during elections are “fine.”

It’s the pattern of BJP in every state to
Announce a scheme, pump money into voter accounts, and let the EC look the other way.

So what exactly is the Election Commission doing?

Is it protecting democracy, or enabling those in power to manipulate it?
When a commission refuses to act, refuses to question, and refuses to enforce its own rules, it stops being a referee and becomes part of the game itself.

Once T N SESHAN said , I am not the CEC of the Govt of India … I am the CEC of India.”

But today cec has become of the government of India . Earlier Our government was murdering the constitution now Ec is murdering the constitution

So we can say there is no election in India ?

Ridiculous way of conducting examination for the post of PRO. Minimum eligibility criteria is graduation in Journalism or Mass Communication but if you have Post Graduation in the same subject, you are not eligible to apply.

@RailwaySeva @RPF_INDIA @DRM_DDU My complaint is humbly closed after saying on call that 'sir hum kya kar sakte hain, itni bheed hai, kaise manage hoga. Railway ki itni capacity nahi hai'.

And the complaint's closing remark says that now the AC is working properly.
