Yes, Lactaid contains the same amount of sugar as regular milk. They just chemically convert it to different kind of sugar. If you want a lactose-free milk with lower carbs and less sweetness, try Fairlife milk. Essentially they deconstruct the milk into its components (using ultrafiltration), convert any remaining lactose, and then reconstitute it back to a version with more protein and about 50% of total sugars in regular milk. I really like the taste of Fairlife milk, especially the 2% version.
PSA: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued warnings regarding black licorice consumption, particularly for individuals aged 40 or older (aka semiretired folks). Eating just 2 ounces of authentic black licorice a day for two weeks can be enough to cause irregular heart rhythms or significant spikes in blood pressure.
@PunkyCovfefe Buy 30-year treasuries, collect the 5.13% yield every year and never worry about the roller coaster stock market again! π€ Waitβ¦ maybe we need to worry about inflation? π€
1. Make it output straight answers without the fluff by default.
2. Make the model say if it is not sure about something. I would much prefer it saying βlβm not sureβ or βI donβt knowβ rather than confidently rattling off a bunch of baloney.
3. Make it better at chemistry or science in general. Especially, when it comes to equilibrium constants, speciation, and related calculations. The current model seems to respond in very weird ways and hallucinates a lot to fill its gaps in fundamental understanding.
Grok is insanely good at science! π§ͺ I just asked Grok 4.3 some hard chemistry questions. Not only did it get the broader context, it also looked up stability constants and correctly (!) calculated the speciation and concentrations for multiple chemical species across a range of pH values.
