The other day I saw a video where someone asked ChatGPT a simple question: “Based on management, who would you choose as the best governor in Nigerian history?” Peter Obi came out tops.

I asked Perplexity the same question. The result: there is no single universally accepted “best governor” in Nigerian history, but if I have to select one based on management performance, data-driven governance and institutional reforms, I would choose Peter Obi (Anambra, 2006–2014).

Interestingly, Perplexity didn’t stop at one name. It gave a full ranked table. Out of every governor in Nigeria’s history, Peter Obi sits at number one, and Kwankwaso still makes the top six.

Two different tools. Two different methods. Same answer. And the same two names, Obi and Kwankwaso, sitting in the top tier.

Nothing APC or ADC can do will erase this fact. If past is prologue, then Tinubu’s Nigeria is a preview of unprecedented fraud, waste, abuse and grift still to come.

Nigeria has already seen what competent leadership looks like, and it wears two names: Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso. In 2027, the only question is whether Nigerians choose that standard again.
