@fourpawsAU Community standards change and I believe usually for the better. We don’t use mulesing on our merinos and I’m comfortable with that. However to say mulesing is less effective than other methods is outright wrong.

Thanks for the comments. Think I’ve found the culprits. I reckon lentils are so slow growing here in winter I probably didn’t need huge numbers to do damage

Nothing on the plant so points to soil, straw critter. Leaving me with bare patches- ideas??

@farmtradedavy @HughPalmer9 @read_simonne @FMCANZ @DMAg_consultant In the olden days with glean the yield penalty was very much dependant on the season finish. Plenty of cases of reduced tillers but no yield penalty in a dry finish.

Lupin damage apparently to overwatch. Damage is the result of how much moves off target (drift) and how sensitive are Lupins. Section in registration submission ‘risk to off target plants’. No mention of Lupins.
