Last, writing with AI. Where we created a haiku to summarise the research methods for the dataset.
Scite turned up better results than GPT for referenced writing, along with summary of the references, but some questionable generation with how sources are used.
✨ Today's workshop at @asab_conference#ASABSpring2024 was fascinating! Our group delved into a dataset exploring horses' cross-modal recognition of human emotions. Analyzing age and its potential impact on recognition abilities added an intriguing twist!

Experimenting with ggplot2 & Runaway app for study visuals yielded mixed results – some were downright terrifying! 👻 Check out the attached images. #DataViz#Research
Yesterday, our team had a blast coming together for a fantastic team lunch! Mixing science and food – what more could we ask for? 🍽️💡 Cheers to our awesome team! #AnimalCognition#AnimalWelfare#AnimalBehavior
Hey Twitter! It’s time you knew more about our last published findings📰. 🐴Do you think horses can react to any of our emotions? We know they react to joy and anger, but what about less intense emotions, like for example sadness?😢 Let me take you through this experiment⬇️ 🧵1/7
Overall, we showed that horses differentiate human voices and faces expressing sadness or joy, which is a first! Matching voices and faces also means they don’t just perceive sounds/images, but could bear mental representations of our emotions🧠. Horses really seem to get us🧵6/7

Had the best time running great experiments with the cutest Welsh ponies ever from the @EquipeCEB with @LeaLansade and @PJardat. Now I need a post doc grant to analyse all of those very promising data on horse emotions !
Part of our team is currently actively involved in both participation and organization of the French Society for the Study of Animal Behavior (SFECA) conference this week. #SFECA2023
