The Big Print is coming. As my book details, it is a mathematical certainty. Trump knows it. The Fed and its supporters know it. What is going to be fascinating to watch is how each side tries to blame the other. And to be fair to Trump, he inherited this pile of shit and the Fed, its Keynesian advisers, and prior administrations put us in this bind. If Bessent and Trump successfully pursue a Run It Hot strategy they better have a plan for doing a one time monetary reset (return to sound money) when inflation reappears because otherwise they may catch the blame which could lead to a Blue victory in 2028.
