@cedardad52@Joe_Fann This post and commenters are not here to fairly consider the reporting within the context of The Times holistic coverage. Most only read the preview and react to how Joe Fann framed it. Once you understand what they’re about it all makes more sense.
@heygoldy@SeattleSports Even though M’s TV is better, it was great having the game available in YouTube TV for multiview with NHL and World Cup coverage. You guys have to figure this out. Switching around from app to app constantly is not it.
@TennisChannel Yes. I will never understand the hesitancy to embrace technology to ensure accuracy. Same with MLB - the balls and strikes challenge system is fake drama at the expense of integrity.
@BenRothenberg I like the McEnroes on Slam coverage. They bring a sense of history and a looseness that makes the big matches feel big, and it gives the majors a different vibe from the week‑to‑week tour broadcasts. When paired with a traditional play-by-play broadcaster, i think it works fine.
@MattDowellTV Accessible to the masses on TNT and other basic cable channels. Every match available to stream in pristine 1080p with HBO Max (a huge upgrade over Tennis Channel and ESPN). Looks great, sounds great. Hope they pursue more year round tennis rights and programming. #RolandGarros
@JonesOnTheNBA Basically it would be fine if they would stream the games on YouTube TV like Peacock does. Having their games segregated on another app just isn’t as convenient.
@YouTubeTV adding more channels to their multi-view builder is going to increase my @VSiNLive hours by multiples! Nice work figuring it out at long last! 👏 👏 👏
