I think revenue consistency is prohibitive. YouTube can make some algo change that cuts revenue in half overnight. he needs YouTube much more than the reverse.
add that to the fact that he can’t transfer the brand to someone else, and he looks much more like Colbert or Jay Leno than a studio.
we don’t talk enough about the impact birth control has on a women’s psyche.
I’m sure doctors would line up to disagree with me, but it can’t be true that adding synthetic hormones to someone’s system 21 days a month for years doesn’t have side effects.
of course, there are tons of benefits. but there doesn’t seem to be any conversation about the trade offs.
it would be an incredible outcome if ozempic broke the domaine loop addiction of social media.
reminds me of commercial real estate in SF/Vancouver before covid. overnight it went from one of the best assets in the world to one of the worst.
demand shocks are rare outside economic cycles/geopolitics and there is nothing the government or central bank can do about a sudden drop in the desire to consume.
fascinating idea @signulll.
what about status? does ozempic reduce the desire for status?
the hard part about this is there are so many voices with opinions about what you should do.
investors, employees, advisors, customers, and your favourite X creator all provide input. no one has anywhere near perfect information.
it’s like leading a group through a minefield in the dark. everyone has a flashlight that grows or dims as you progress and a compass tuned to a different north.
you’ve got to decide which one to follow as you rally the group to keep moving forward.
you make decision after decision, deciding who’s flashlight and compass to follow.
our brains are hardwired to make decisions intuitively and avoid using our intellect. Daniel Kahneman’s System 1 and 2.
when AI codes for you, it’s transformed a System 2 task into a System 1 task. people will use it a lot.
when it replaces two clicks with you having to predict and dictate a bunch of steps, it’s doing the reverse. people won’t use it.
GPT: Goal marked complete. Usage: 3,598,022 tokens, about 2h 40m elapsed.

nothing has changed in software development.
@SP55R@DrBitcoinMD seems like ppl have gotten more upset about this carbon with this explosion than the successful SpaceX launches.
I suppose it hits different when you don’t actually get to space and back.
@ivanburazin you can sell to enterprise clients having not been a buyer yourself. it’s a very different temperament.
I bet the vast majority of AEs were not buyers in their past.
