Sorry but MAID is wrong. Regardless of what you think about your life you have a purpose. The problem with MAID is people who are older and think they are burdens on their families will opt for it. They may even be forced into it. I saw a healthy eighty plus Canadian grandmother opt for it. In Canada you can be killed because you’re unhappy, despite having a totally healthy body. A young man in Canada was just killed in his early twenties because he was depressed. His parents were devastated. I get hospice here in the US is similar to MAID, but Hospice it truly is end of life. The MAID system is completely messed up.

I’m so sorry. I always respected your career. You were a person I looked to for reason on twitter. I must admit, like your children, I thought you went a bit crazy and stopped following you. The more I learn the more I realize you were probably correct on many of your opinions here. Although I don’t agree with everything you’ve said I do respect you and realize we have all been gaslit over the years. I hope your children start to see the light the way I have.
