For the avoidance of any doubt, that's sarcasm and I love this man more than I should. He's the best thing to happen to this club in years, and you can see exactly what it means to him to be a part of it.
I completely agree with this. Kim Hellberg has been awful for Boro and blown the guaranteed promotion we had in October...any other clubs without a manager should steer clear and leave him exactly where he is.
Really can't work out the praise Kim Hellburg is getting at Middlesbrough. He adopted a team that were bound for promotion, sat in the top 2 of the league for over 200 days, managed to lose 55% of his games in charge of them, and then got them dumped out in the semi finals of...
#OTD in 1973, God created….well God. The finest player I’ve ever seen wear a Boro shirt is 51 today. Juninho made over 150 appearances for the club in 3 separate spells, culminating in the Carling Cup win in 2004 🇧🇷🔴⚪️
@JeffStelling@NUFCborn The system needs to change. There still needs to be a human element to the game. VAR reviews should only be for obvious errors. Or give each manager/captain 3 challenges per match and let them decide if a decision can be reviewed.
@Andyroo1980 I'd much rather lose to a decision that was a genuine mistake, i.e. ref thought it was handball in real time, than him get to watch the replays and then give it, when every football fan knows that's never a pen. I thought VAR is only meant to correct clear, obvious errors?
So towards the end of last season the daughter noticed Michael Carrick REALLY likes his grey jumper. So much so that if I’m at a game she’s not at, I get asked if he’s wearing it 🤷🏻♂️😄
This has prompted me to do some analysis into Carrick’s clothing choices & our results (1/4)
@GraemeBandeira@BPete1970 Nice to see a bit of realism about. Too many expect a player to sign on Thursday and play like Messi on Saturday. I still don't think we've got the squad Carrick wanted, but he's got enough to work with now. Hopefully see a big improvement from here.
@Strickland__Ben Completely agree with most of this Ben. But then I'm not one of the apparent thousands of Boro fans with a UEFA Pro Coaching Licence, access to the company bank account and an inside line to the recruitment team, who all know we're in for a relegation battle!
As a HUGE BOXT WELCOME to our newest partnership @Boro and their mighty fans, we're giving you the chance to win a SIGNED home shirt and 2x tickets to the first game of the season! 🤝
