Hey, I teach Japanese in 🇦🇺 As a Japanese learner myself, I know how hard it can be & the seemingly enormous plateaus between ‘levels’. But hang in there & if a Japanese person compliments you, say ありがとうございます & keep working hard as this isn’t a good indicator of ability

→Cool now you can speak to little kids
Second tier: 日本語ペラペラだね
→Your grammar it atrocious but props to you for talking quickly
Bottom tier: 日本語上手ですねぇ！
→Great attempt at what I think was Japanese

@slxthkween @fountainclown Biology doesn’t talk. If it did it would say you’re wrong & plenty of women have healthy babies. Statistics would agree with your point & psychology would say poor dear. I don’t know if knowing your grandparents as an adult is better either. How about just, ‘I miss grandma’.

It might seem unfair that a middle of the day meeting would be cheaper than travelling in the morning and things like that. Maybe not but it would seem that there would be easy, trifling reasons for JR to dismiss it.

@capsulebutt To be honest, I had it pretty good because I was busy with sport & study as a young teen & was nearly done with school the first time it got serious. In hindsight I was oblivious/stupid in the best way possible. If I’d have known the real reason at the time it could’ve ate me up

@RaraSensei Having my own it’s very hard to dissociate how I could do it to someone else’s with no remorse. But. If I can choose the basketball I’m going toy size and I’ll happily scone a snotty little kid at the park cutting in line and being a brat. If it’s regulation size it’s the swing.
