Inspirational evening at 313 Sahibzadas Sikh Scout group, who meet at Hamstead Hall Academy. Heart warming to witness investiture in each section. Awarded 36 More in Common badges to youngsters who had carried out the required activities. This takes us over the award of 2,000

Just completed 42nd of 44 Millenium Way Circular Walks. 7 miles from Stoulton in Worcs. Congrats to Worcs Ramblers for installing very substantial wooden footbridge. Beautiful Autumn colours & lots of mistletoe waiting for Xmas kiss. Frogs & woodcocks in hiding today.

Congratulations to Jagwant Johal and Siobhan Harper-Willis for organising excellent 2nd biennial BRIG (Birmingam Racial Impact Group) Summit, with such well informed members of panels. Graphs showed diminishing number of people from BAME progressing to higher educational levels.

Just 3 to go to complete all 44 Millenium circular walks. Today's walk over 9 miles from All Saints Church in Middleton Cheney, Northants, the most southern of these walks. Beautiful sunny day showed honey coloured stone and Autumn-hued trees at their best.
