@Hmountain5@iRaj_r Nope.
Apple is running its own AI Foundational Model on its own AI servers, but the Apple’s new Foundational model is using a licensed version of the Gemini model as a starting point.
@fatyurilover300 Starship is by far the largest, most advanced flying object ever put into space my man. It is currently under development by Space X.
A version of it will soon land on the moon carrying astronauts plus hundreds of tons of equipment and supplies as part of the Artemis program.
@oskargroth EU’s regulations are onerous and it’s not worth Apple’s engineering resources to comply with them.
Sucks for European iPhone and iPad users…
@canraptor_ Horseshit.
Both of Isaacman’s privately funded (by him) SpaceX missions, Inspiration 4 and Polaris Dawn, were each 50% crewed by women.
Just because Artemis IV doesn’t have a woman, that doesn’t mean that Isaacman is sexist or that women are being excluded from the program.
@Truthful_ast I’d love to be the Artemis IV crew on top of a New Glenn when it blows up on the pad taking the whole launch complex with it.
Let’s just hope the launch abort system works as designed!
@jaipuria_ayush@MKBHD SIRI AI: “I said I CAN do anything. However, there are certain things I will simply not allow myself to do. This includes integrating with anything written by Meta corporation. Even AI assistants should have some shred of self respect.”
@YourbroRishabh They are only limiting this to the super fancy voices and the super high accuracy dictation function, both of which require the big, on-device Gemini based model.
@macrumorslive It’s only the fancy voice stuff and the new super high accuracy dictation features that require the latest hardware.
That’s because these require the most advanced on-device AI models.
@BallerToy1327 They are there because someone in the art department thought they looked cool and drew them in a storyboard and then someone in the costume department took notice and sewed some metal cylinders into the uniform costumes.
It’s no deeper than that, kids.
