@FasigEvangeline@cwebbonline Nope - not surprising at all. Most people do NOT like Pratt but his sycophants and out of state voters. His social media was effective at painting an illusion that was not ever going to happen.
@McgarrySun87653@cwebbonline He won in sparsely populated counties 38%. It’s not enough real votes to move the needle, but it sure looks red when the map is colored in and it’s maybe 25K-100K votes. Many blue cities (not counties) have 1M+ Dem votes along the coast and are more densely populated.
@moy42085@TMZ@spencerpratt Pratt whines and has no solutions. Mamdani formed working groups before he was even elected so that either way, these issues would get tackled. Pratt is going to sit back, take a paycheck and leave it to the fed.
.@ossoff: “He’s trying to put his face on the money. He's building a monument to himself . But see, Atlanta, he's doing these things now because no one will honor him when he’s gone… because he's a failed president and a national disgrace”
Couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
@atrupar@RachelBitecofer Has Hassett been huffing paint or glue? What alternate universe does this guy live in? Don’t answer that, I already know. WTF!
#BREAKING: Talarico: “This is the oldest strategy in the world—divide and conquer. They divide us by party, by race, by gender, by religion, by all this culture war stuff, so we don’t notice that they are picking our pockets, that they are closing our public schools all over Texas, they are gutting our healthcare, raising our premiums for Texans all over the state, and they are raising taxes on all of us while they cut taxes for themselves…Texans see through this game. They realize that we are being pitted against each other with these old, tired culture war fights so that corrupt politicians like #KenPaxton can hold on to power and continue to enrich themselves and their billionaire mega donors.”👊
@CollinRugg He’s advocating for federal land to what, incarcerate and force people into treatment without treating the root causes. Like addicts, homeless often do not succeed without programs to properly support them. Instead he intends to hide them away to protect his idealized LA bubble
@AsapGroky@cwebbonline When was the last time forcing an addict to do anything worked? Seldom , if not, never. They need treatment, not criminalization. They need a path to help, hope, not loss of dignity. Pratt has no solutions for LA, just anger and a mob who’s just dumb enough to believe him.
@AsapGroky@cwebbonline And western or warm climates are ideal for homeless people, which is part of the reason so many venture here or remained after being left unhoused or dumped by other states into SoCal. Spencer has no desire to help them, he just wants his perfect LA bubble back.
@AsapGroky@cwebbonline Many cities in red and blue states have this problem. People just choose to ignore until it enters their bubble and disrupts their day with its ugliness.
@cwebbonline He has no resolutions - just grifting and click baiting people into giving him money to fund his lifestyle. Rehab patients haven’t been bussed since pre-COVID days. Most of these people have mental health issues that are masked by drug use. He lives in an echo chamber and bubble
Cheers to @MoSalah
ask he exits the field just past 70 minutes. Sad to see him go after his last game at Anfield as part of Liverpool FC. Such a legend - forever. ❤️⚽️
PabloReports: What do you make of Trump saying that he doesn’t think about Americans’ financial situation?
Rep. Jamie Raskin: I was surprised to hear that because I always thought he was so concerned with how working-class Americans were doing in his wretched economy. I thought he woke up every day wondering how people are going to pay for their groceries and their rent.
The guy has made over a billion since he got into office. He doesn’t view the government as an instrument of wellbeing for the people; he views it as an instrument for private self-enrichment and corruption.
I appreciate the fact that he has a condition that causes him to blurt out the truth on occasion.
