I think there is some confusion here, Manish ji. A few Indians did die, but they died between 7 and 10 May 2025, excluding the two dates. Those incidents were not part of Operation Sindoor. Our soldiers and civilians died in Pakistan’s few successful drone strikes and shelling on our border districts — even as we destroyed most enemy projectiles using Akashteer and their bigger systems using S-400 Triumf — in the days between India’s first strike on terrorist targets on Pakistani soil and occupied Kashmir and the second strike on Pakistan’s military installations. 7 May and 10 May constituted Operation Sindoor; 8 May and 9 May did not.
