BREAKING: House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries DEMANDS that the disgraced Pete Hegseth resign over "Operation Epic Failure" as Iran takes a victory lap against Trump.

America has never had a more incompetent Defense Secretary...

"There's reports that Secretary Hegseth is coming tomorrow, in part to ask for $80 billion more to pay for the Iran War," a reporter said. "Presumably, Democrats would not go along with that, but what is your assessment of the need for that, given it's so much more than was originally stated?"

"Donald Trump and Secretary Hegseth are responsible for Operation Epic Failure," said Jeffries. "Their reckless and costly war of choice has been a disaster for the American people."

And it has. Groceries and the price of gas have skyrocketed and we have gained nothing in return. Trump started this war because Israel asked him to. Now, he has agreed to a peace deal that gives Iran $300 billion, unfreezes their frozen accounts, and concedes full control of Strait of Hormuz — which they already control. Iran will emerge from this conflict more powerful than ever before.

In return, the U.S. gets an end to a pointless war that it started and a reopening of the Strait, which was open before the bombs started falling. Trump created this world-destroying problem and is now trying to take credit for "solving" it.

"And the notion that they'll come up to Capitol Hill to try to get an additional $80 billion to continue to waste taxpayer money on an endless war in the Middle East that Donald Trump promised he wouldn't start but would stop is beyond reckless," added Jeffries. "When Pete Hegseth comes up to Capitol Hill tomorrow, what he should do is submit his letter of resignation."

We'll go one step further. Not only should Hegseth be forced out of power, he should be prosecuted for war crimes. Under his orders, American forces slaughtered Iranian civilians, including a school full of children. That kind of sin never washes out. The very least that we can do is hold the people responsible accountable.
