these hydration breaks are calm, but it’s funny how during ramadan people completely lost their heads over games being paused for 30 secs - 1 minute so muslim players could break their fast. i still remember the game vs leeds when cherki, ait-nouri & marmoush were booed. the hypocrisy is unreal
Unai Emery acts like Arsenal owe him salary and like he’s the best coach we could have ever had.
Arsenal gave you a chance after everything that went wrong with you at PSG. You now act like some nemesis that was unfairly terminated when you were conceding 27 shots to Watford at home.
He’s such a clown that man.
William Saliba: “The first season I arrived, we were playing incredible football. That was the season where I said we deserved the title. We finished second - as usual, people made fun of us.”
“The second season too, we were playing good football, finished second. People made fun of us, ‘Bottle, bottle’. Last season too, we were playing well, even if we weren’t playing as well as the first two seasons, we still finished second.”
“This season, even if I don’t agree with everything they say, as if there was only one team that was playing. Well, we’re playing football, except it’s true that sometimes we score a lot more from set-pieces.”
“Now, in the Premier League, you see everyone does long throws, focuses on corners, it’s NOT just us. We just do it better than the others, so we’re going to continue like this.” 🏆🇫🇷 [@lequipe]
I still can't believe we actually let Man United fans bully Arsenal fans and talk crazy on our timeline after the UCL Final, completely forgetting that this video exists on the internet... 😭

UFC had no problem.
He criticizes Israel?
Now the "higher ups" say he's BANNED from UFC 250.
Yes, Guardiola created the most beautiful football in history with Barcelona, and tens of millions of coach devotees.
The most influential coach in history given the dissemination of his ideas, without doubt.
But increasingly, used his position to speak out for persecuted people, when too many others in football say nothing, pretend not to see.
Particularly, today’s greatest players.
Guardiola was, and is in a unique position to influence the atrocities perpetrated and funded by the UAE, his employer, where his greatest leverage lay, nonetheless he spoke out on human rights, for an end to conflict, when others would not.
That’s far, far too rare in sport today.
Arsenal 1st in the PL and unbeaten in the CL up to the Semi Final stage.
All with the second highest number of injuries of all PL clubs.
Yet Arteta’s name gets dragged through the mud, daily. Fools.
I’m not even an Arsenal fan, but as a football fan the truth has to be said — Mikel Arteta is clearly underrated.
Even the great Guardiola needed 6/7 seasons at Manchester City, with all the money spent on signings, before finally winning the Champions League. Since then, he hasn’t won it again or even reached the semifinal in the last two seasons.
Meanwhile Arteta is building something serious with Arsenal. Despite spending far less, he has taken them to back-to-back Champions League semifinals while turning them into genuine contenders again.
You don’t have to support Arsenal to admit he’s doing an elite job. Some people are too focused on trophies to see the bigger picture.
🚨🎙️Thierry Henry on Arteta playing Martinelli and Madueke at the expense of Saka and Eze.
🗣️“Ah, so now it’s a problem when we don’t play them, yes? So let me understand—you want him to play Saka and Eze today so you’ll say he risk Fulham. If he doesn’t, you say he doesn’t care about today. Very interesting logic.
We have Fulham, yes—but also a second leg at home against Atlético Madrid. And there are games where you don’t just play… you have to finish the job. Today is about control.
Control of the game, control of the rhythm, and especially control of ourselves—because if we lose that, we lose everything. If he plays Saka and Eze, you ask him about Fulham. If he doesn’t , you ask him about today. It’s always something. But this is why he makes the decisions, not you.
We control today so that when Atlético Madrid come to our house, we don’t have to talk—we just finish the job.”
