A few years ago, Ashu had a high-paying corporate job in London, earning millions. Saurav was writing about the country’s legal system and living a great life. Both had successful careers, financial security and every reason to continue living the lives they had built for themselves.
But they chose to give it all up in the hope of making this country a better place. They had absolutely no reason to leave behind their comfortable lives, take to the streets, face uncertainty and eventually end up in jail. Yet they did.
What I admire most about these two is that despite coming from privileged backgrounds, they chose to fight for those who aren’t as fortunate. They could have easily looked the other way, enjoyed their lives and never bothered about the struggles of people they had never even met. Nobody asked them to make these sacrifices. Nobody expected them to. But they did, because they genuinely care about people beyond themselves.
And to me, that is the greatest quality a human being can have. To stand up for people you don’t know, to fight battles that aren’t your own, and to risk everything you have so that someone else might have a better life.
That’s the kind of people Ashu and Saurav are.
We are continuously running a campaign for the release of Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka. However, andhbhakts are attempting to get our account suspended through mass reporting.

At 9.50 PM, SHO is calling @yogitabhayana asking her to move with the parents of #AnkitaBhandarj ‘somewhere else’ and telling her that there is Sec.163 imposed at India Gate, so there cannot be a peaceful protest here.
She said - where do we go, where can we protest since Burrari is a jungle, CBD maidaan is too far away and for Ramleela Maidaan, one needs to pay approx 1 lakh.
Where do we sit in New Delhi central area - SHO did not have an answer ofcourse.
Ankita Bhandari’s parents have been asking for justice for last 4 years and now the main suspected VIP has been given a constitutional position. What justice is this?
If there is no space for all the women in central delhi, then does this nation not belong to us?
If there is no justice and the main suspects are given constitutional positions, is there justice in this country?
If there is no place to peaceful protest in central delhi, then is this constitutional?
The entire @INCIndia is united in this fight. We will stay for as long as the parents want to stay. We will fight till the very end.

After the West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer and a BJP spokesperson questioned DeKoder's earlier SIR analysis, Prannoy Roy (@PrannoyRoy7749) responds with a closer look at the data.
Is counting seats won enough to understand SIR's electoral impact? What does the vote swing reveal that the seat tally doesn't?
Watch till the end and follow DeKoder for more.

When CJP was granted permission to protest, many were quick to float conspiracy theories that we were planted by the BJP.
Yesterday, the INDIA bloc held a massive protest, but there was no crackdown like the one we witnessed on October 10.
This is exactly how the govt plays us against each other. By treating different protests differently, they create suspicion and mistrust among people who are ultimately fighting for the same cause.
My only request to everyone is to see through these tactics. Today, they may allow one protest and crush another. Tomorrow, they could reverse the roles. The idea is to keep us doubting each other instead of questioning those in power.
Don’t let conspiracy theories divide us. Don’t fall into the trap of fighting among ourselves when we should be standing together.
The fight is against Gyanesh Kumar and those protecting him. Don’t lose sight of that.
Taking away Jantar Mantar will not take way the resistance.
All your attempts to 'denotify' democracy by denotifying Jantar Mantar will fail. The people will prevail!
Democracy will flourish!
Dear protestors, since you’re being filmed without your consent, try using make-up to dodge surveillance/facial recognition cameras.
Here’s a tutorial.
(Draw an extra eye, a pair of lips, use colour to draw camouflage on your skin, use concealer to cover brows if need be. Get creative, help others with make-up.)
Be safe, stay hydrated, stay strong.
Girls, carry pepper spray.
BULLIES ARE ALWAYS COWARDS, don’t forget.
Stay peaceful,
don’t be silent,
don’t be violent.
