This week, as part of the ongoing elaboration of @BureraDistrict and @RutsiroDistrict integrated District Land Use Plans (DLUPs), @GGGI_Rwanda, in partnership with @Lands_Rwanda, is conducting a training for District Officials to strengthen their understanding of:

✅ The rationale behind DLUPs and why integrated land use planning is critical for sustainable development.

✅ The process and key components of DLUPs, including land use zoning, spatial analysis, and socio-economic & Environmental considerations.

✅ Their roles and responsibilities in the implementation and monitoring of these plans to ensure alignment with Rwanda’s climate-resilient development goals.

This activity is part of the @theGCF Readiness project implemented by @GGGI_Rwanda and @Lands_Rwanda, promoting integrated land use planning that aligns with @RwandaGov strategies and fosters sustainable, climate-resilient settlements in line with the country’s net-zero ambitions.
