If she did, she's let the cat out of the bag. Government funding defines the level of Council Tax, not political party. 12 Labour Councils in London have lower CT than Merton!

@Siobhain_Mc Honesty is really important Siobhain. 8 London Labour Councils have higher Council Tax than Merton, 12 London Labour Councils have cheaper Council Tax than Merton. Why? There's a strong correlation between central Government funding levels and Council Tax.

While @MertonLabour tax-payer funded leaflets claim they're 'freezing Council Tax,' in reality households will see a 2.5% rise.

At 3pm today Wimbledon police station’s front counter closes to the public. Mitcham’s is already closed.

@PaulKohlerSW19 handed in a petition of nearly 4000 signatures yesterday from concerned Merton residents.
